DDA Case : Colin Bennett V. B&H City Council

The latest news about the case is that there was a hearing called at Brighton County Court before District Judge Merrick. No directions were agreed as it was decided that the action will be stayed until 22 May 2006 on the understanding that the Council would undertake practical steps to provide facilities for hearing impaired people in the seven venues which form the basis for mt complaint. This was embodied in an Order made by District Judge Merrick. An update to the Dossier is currently in preparation and will be available soon. All in all today has been a very successful day !

CPRE Falmer Support

The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England (CPRE) has issued a Press Release about its support for the challange of Mr Prescott's stadium decision. Read this Press Release here. The Brighton & Hove Argus newspaper has reported this story today.
