My Travels : Bulgarian Medieval Warrior

Some readers may think I am on a permanant gravy train overseas. There is some truth in this for Summer 2005. This Summer began when I was a delegate for Sense at the 8th Helen Keller World Conference and World Federation of the Deafblind 2nd General Assembly in Tampere, Finland in early June. I then particpated in the 8th European Deafblind Holiday in Varna, Bulgaria (3 - 10  July). I have written about this in an earlier post here. An edited version of this text will be published in the Sense magazine Talking Sense soon. It was while on this holiday that I encountered the fearsome doppelganger featured above. You can also see progress in Anglo-Bulgarian relations here. Finally, I have just returned from the 6th European Conference on Deafblindness held in Presov, Slovakia early in August. More details will emerge on this blog soon. I am also preparing photos in my Yahoo Photo album. Please e-mail me if you wish to be invited to see them. Terms moderate !

Update Submission to DCA Consultation Paper 'Broadcasting Courts'

There was a post on Tuesday, 15 March 2005 about this topic. I am happy say that on 30 June the DCA published a report which is a summary of responses. Readers are encouraged to have a look or to visit the DCA consultation website.

Mind the Gap !

I apologise for the ghastly gap in the layout on this blog. I have my technical people looking into this and I hope things will be resolved.
