News from Hove
You can see that my last blog posting was as long ago as February 2008. Does this mean that I have been inactive? Not at all: I have been too busy making history to write about it!
One of the most interesting things in my recent life was my visit to Zagreb, Croatia on 25 April-4 May 2008. I was attending the Conference of the European Blind Union-deaf/blind section and also the General Assembly of the European Deaf Blind union. I will get around to writing about those events.
After these meetings I was able to spend two days on KrK, an island on the Adriatic Coast. I went with my new chum Goron who so effectively managed the induction loop and microphone system during the whole period of the double conference. My thanks to him and also to everyone who made the experience so memorable-not forgetting Tajana, superCroat.
I took-or rather had taken for me-131 photos in Croatia and you can see them by clicking on the link here: www.flickr.com/photos/hova/
Please note that if you go to these Croatia photos then you will automatically have access to all the other photos on my Flickr Gallery. Welcome!
Good bye for today from warm and sunny Hove in southern England.
