Day out at Nymans Gardens
On 13 April 2013 I went with a group from City Synergy (a social outfit for VI people) to Nymans Gardens which is a National Trust estate in the north of Sussex. I hadn't been in the country for some time, so I enjoyed it. The morning started bright but was raining by the time we got to the gardens and it rained for the whole day afterwards. That fact is the reason why I have no photos of the gardens themselves. I have some photos taken inside the main building and these are mainly of an 'evacuees museum'. During the Second World War children were evacuated to Nymans and this series of exhibits is quite interesting, especially to younger people who have little concept of that era.
